How should I balance Organic and Paid Listings?

As a general rule, organic listings get a larger number of click-throughs, whereas sponsored listings tend to convert higher. Although this can vary a great deal between different types of websites, there are clear advantages and disadvantages of both. A search engine marketing campaign for any profit oriented website should always include a healthy mix between organic and pay per click listings, although this is rarely an equal mix. Typically, Yourslice will aim for around 70% of search engine referral traffic to come from organic listings, and 30% from paid.
