For the first time, Wall Street analysts are starting to take notice of the search engine optimisation industry. Safa Rashtchy , Senior Internet Analyst at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray has projected that the search industry will become an $8 billion field by 2008. Growth is essentially due to the fact that existing consumers are becoming more confident with buying products and services online, rather than because of any substantial growth in new subscribers .
